The Roads and Bridges Division maintains the County’s
network of roads and storm water drainage systems.
Additionally, we do all the mowing, road shoulder
repair, right-of-way clearing, tree cutting, and fence
maintenance throughout the County. We operate from
two locations: the main camp in Cantonment and a camp
near the town of Century in the northern end of the
County.
To accomplish all that we are tasked with, we have
divided our people and equipment into two main support
areas: road maintenance and stormwater drainage. In
these areas, we expend more than 50% of our work effort
responding to problems identified by individual citizens.
