This Section, located within the Building Inspections Division, ensures compliance with applicable State and local licensing and construction laws. Investigations
Filing a Complaint You may view, complete or print a Complaint Form, available in Adobe Acrobat Format. The Complaint Form may become public record at the time it is filed, depending on the type of Complaint. Click here for information on filing complaints against locally licensed contractors. Escambia County Complaint Form (pdf) You may file a Complaint in person, by phone, by mail or complete the online form at www.myescambia.com. If insufficient space is provided on the complaint form for any answer, please use a separate sheet. Since the Investigator may have to contact you for additional information, please provide a telephone number where he/she may contact you during the day. In order to register your Complaint, please complete the Complaint form, with signature, and return it to: Escambia County Building Inspections Division Application Forms & InformationThe following application forms must be printed and hand-delivered, mailed, or (depending on the form) faxed back to the Building Inspections Department . We are currently unable to accept forms via e-mail. A separate building permit is required for each individual building.
